My presentations are fun, inspirational, and informative. People often remark how practical my suggestions are and appreciate my down to earth, realistic approach. I continually research new information regarding the way students learn and I have the ability to find creative ways to apply that knowledge and communicate it to audiences of teachers and administrators.
Much of my teaching experience has been in multi-level, multi-age classrooms. I rely heavily on these experiences when teaching teachers about the unique needs of struggling students. I have a unique understanding of the challenges faced by teachers in remote, rural areas with limited resources and services and find that the strategies used in these places apply as well to large, urban settings.
