This project is designed to intensify existing partnerships and provide technical assistance to persons in rural areas who wish to build a cadre of people in their own region with knowledge and expertise in the area of assessment, acquisition, implementation and evaluation of the use of technology for all persons in the community. 

My intent when developing the Collaborative Empowerment Project was to create a professional development program that empowers ALL members of a team with confidence in their own ability to reach consensus using a student/consumer based decision-making process. This model provides teams time to practice implementing concepts being taught which has proven to be one of the most significant reasons for its continued success.
